Love Interruption is the first track to be released from Jack White’s forthcoming solo debut, and if you don’t know who Jack White is then I don’t really know what to tell you, bub. If I had to describe this song in as few words as possible I would just call it short and sweet. I would hardly consider myself a die hard White Stripes/Jack White fan, but I certainly enjoy them/him. This song is two and a half minutes of Jack White, his acoustic, a female vocalist backing him up, a keyboard, and some woodwinds. Even with other elements added to Jack and his guitar, the song maintains a very minimal feel. The song is catchy, the lyrics– while really nothing special– are entertaining enough, and Jack’s voice sounds great as always. Overall the song is pretty enjoyable, but it’s nothing I’m absolutely dying to hear again over and over. Still good, though.
